Design

Metallurgical analysis

The metallographic analyses, XRD, and hardness tests we conduct are used to assess the quality of plasticizing units, whether new or in use, to explain wear issues and product defects, and consequently optimize their design.

Polymer analysis

We perform IR spectroscopy, DSC, TGA, and rheological analyses on polymer material samples. This allows us to determine the exact characteristics of the materials to be processed and identify the ideal screw profiles and treatments. These analyses are also extremely useful for understanding the causes of wear in plasticizing units and, therefore, defining the most suitable solutions.
