Segmented screws
Segmented plasticizing screws, made of interchangeable components, offer modularity and ease of maintenance. Their flexibility allows for optimized mixing and adaptation to various materials, enhancing process efficiency.
Twin screws
Plasticizing twin screws consist of two screws that rotate together, either in the same direction (co-rotating) or in opposite directions (counter-rotating). This technology provides superior mixing and homogenization, as well as precise control of the material’s temperature and pressure.
Hoppers and bushings
Hoppers and bushings are essential components for completing the plasticizing unit and optimizing the processing. Hoppers meter polymers for the processing stage, while bushings guide and support the screws in extruders.
